We were thrilled to discover that in February BrideTide added us to their list of Top 100 Wedding Blogs! If you’re planning a wedding BrideTide is a great resource, not just because of this list but because of their networking site. You can browse and review hundreds of wedding blogs and search for just the information that you need. There are so many great sites in the BrideTide list that we wanted to share our favorites with you. We decided to cover them in categories. Last week we looked at BrideTide’s favorite groom blogs, today’s list: Budget Savvy Blogs.

The Broke-Ass Bride
The title pretty much says it all, a cheeky, quirky look at wedding ideas for brides on a budget.
Typical Post: Can’t Afford It/Get Over It - a regular feature that offers less expensive alternatives to way too expensive wedding items.

The Budget Savvy Bride
Another one where the title speaks for itself. They feature real weddings with a twist, the budget is included along with the normal wedding porn like pictures! Features a lot of guest posts from other engaged women and professionals with budget tips.

SmartBride Boutique
Regular readers of this blog will already be familiar with the fabulous wedding dresses that SmartBride lists. The blog has lots of money saving tips (including some from us), but also spotlights wedding dress styles, with available dresses featured.
Typical Post: Back to the Future: Wedding Dresses with Beautiful Backs

Bride on a Budget
The personal planning blog of a 23 year old newlywed who planned a wedding for under $7,000, more ideas than tips.
Typical Post: First Dance Picture with Lyrics (I saw this great idea on Pinterest the other day … )
